According to Shaoxing County Statistic Bureau, the added value of the tertiary industry in Shaoxing county realized 22.312 billion Yuan in 2009, with the increase of 14.2% compared with the same period of 2008, and that of the tertiary industry accounting for 34.5% in GDP.

　　The development of the tertiary industry of Shaoxing county has increased the income of residents, and improved their lives. Yicheng Digital Square with the occupying area of 4000 m2established in Keqiao in July, 2009. Changlong Urban Spring Taobao City opened in September, 2009, with the investment of 38 million Yuan. Wangzi Hotel integrating repast, body fitness, entertainment and leisure opened. Wal-mart, the super tycoon of retail trade, landed in Keqiao. Wanda Square, on the way of construction, will bring a brand new shopping for Keqiao natives with the investment of 5 billion Yuan and total area of 680,000 m2. According to the statistic, Shaoxing county realized the total volume of social consumption 10.589 billion Yuan in 2009 with an increase of 16.3% compared with the same period of 2008. There is a 7.3% margin of consumption increase higher than that of income.

　　10,357 suites of newly built commercial residential buildings have been sold with an increase of 152.4% compared with the same period of 2008 totaling 1,319,800 m2 with an increase of 197%.
